Inovis Energy Completes $50,000 MassEVIP-Funded EV Charging Project at Kennedy’s Country Gardens

Four publicly accessible Level 2 charging ports installed in Scituate, Massachusetts, helping expand EV charging access on the South Shore

SCITUATE, MASSACHUSETTS, SEPTEMBER 8, 2026 

Inovis Energy has successfully completed a new electric vehicle (EV) charging installation at Kennedy’s Country Gardens in Scituate, Massachusetts. The project expands public access to EV charging while helping support the region’s growing electric transportation network.

The project included the installation of four publicly accessible Level 2 EV charging ports. The stations use Autel charging equipment and are managed through the AmpUp software platform. Located at 85 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, the charging stations provide a convenient amenity for customers visiting the popular garden center and retail destination.

A key component of the project was securing funding through the Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (MassEVIP). Inovis Energy helped facilitate the process, resulting in a $50,000 grant award. The funding significantly reduced the overall project cost and accelerated the deployment of EV charging infrastructure at the site.

As electric vehicle adoption continues to grow throughout Massachusetts, businesses are increasingly looking for ways to provide charging access for customers, employees, and visitors. Public charging stations not only support sustainability goals but can also enhance the customer experience. They can encourage longer visits and attract EV drivers searching for convenient charging locations.

Adding EV chargers allows us to support that commitment while providing a valuable amenity for our customers as they shop and travel throughout the beautiful coastal communities we call home.”

The charging stations utilize the AmpUp network, allowing drivers to easily locate, access, and manage charging sessions through a user-friendly platform. By leveraging the site’s existing electrical service, the project was completed efficiently while minimizing additional infrastructure requirements.

Inovis Energy provided turnkey project support, including incentive guidance, project development, equipment procurement, installation management, and commissioning services.
